Pre-registration is now closed but you can still register onside starting from 13 March 2011.

The Onsite registration desks will be located at the entrance of Sheikh Maktoum Hall and will be operational during the following hours:

Sunday 13 March, 12.00 NN – 7.00 PM
Monday 14 March, 8.00 AM – 5.00 PM
Tuesday15 March, 9.00 AM – 5.00 PM
Wednesday 16 March, 9.00 AM – 5.00 PM

We encourage you to come and register on the 13 of March to have an easy start of your conference on the 14 morning.

A valid HUGO Membership Number must be entered in the online registration fee for HUGO Members. Delegates selecting this fee must continue to be valid Members of HUGO at the time of the HGM2011 or the Non Member fee will be charged.

CAGS Country Registration Fee is for all individuals who currently reside and/or are in full time employment in one of the CAGS Council Countries, which are: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt,Iraq,Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon,Libya, Morocco,Oman,Palestine,Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan,Syria,Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen

A valid full-time student ID must be provided at the time of collecting the name badge onsite. Failing to provide a proof of being a full time student may result in the Delegate Fees being charges

Accompanying persons can be spouses or husbands or immediate family members (not fellow employees). Only one accompanying person per delegate can be registered online. Should you wish to register additional Accompanying people please email pco@hgm2011.org

 

What is included in the Registration Fees

Delegates and Students Registration fees include the following:

 

- Access to Scientific sessions and Exhibition
- Official conference documentation, including advance program and proceedings
- Invitation to the Opening ceremony and Welcome reception
- Transfers to and from the venue and official conference hotels
- Transfers to and from official hotels to social functions
- Coffee breaks during/within official conference program/venue
- Delegate bag

Accompanying Persons Registration Fees include the following:

 

- Invitation to the Opening Ceremony and Welcome reception
- Transfers to and from the venue and official conference hotels
- Transfers to and from official hotels to social functions
- Accompanying Person registration
DOES NOT allow access to the scientific session

Registration Terms & Conditions

HUGO reserves the right to make amendments to the programme or any related activities at its own discretion.

 

Registration and payment:

-

Registration fees include only items detailed above. Items and activities which are not availed by the delegate cannot be reimbursed.

-

Registration fees vary according to the payment reception period. If the payment is made after the deadline of the selected period, the registration fee of the following period will be applicable and the difference will be invoiced for immediate payment.

-

According to the regulation of the United Arab Emirates as per September 2010, VAT is not applicable on registration fees. HUGO reserves the right to amend the charges quoted should the VAT rate be applied before March 2011.

-

No registration can be confirmed without payment

-

Upon successful payment, registrants will receive an invoice and receipt which serves as the confirmation of registration to the event

-

Delegates must present a copy of the payment receipt at the registration counter as proof of their registration and payment.

-


If the payment is made just before the Meeting, a proof of payment will be required on the spot. Delegates without a proof of payment will not be allowed to participate in the Congress.

 

Cancellation and substitution:

-

If a delegate cannot attend the Congress, HGM 2011 accepts a substitute colleague before 1 February 2011.

-

Requests for substitutions will only be accepted by e-mail or fax addressed to pco@hgm2011.org indicating the cancelled delegate and the substitute.

-

The substitute must be from the same organisation.

-

Please note that after 15th February 2011 a fee of 50USD will be applied for substitution.

-

If a delegate has to cancel his/her registration before 1st February 2011, the full registration fee will be reimbursed (less applicable administrative cost of 150USD for delegates and USD 50 for students and accompanying person).

-

100% cancellation charges will be applied for cancellations after 01st February 2011

-

No-shows will not qualify for a refund of registration fees.

-

Should the delegate not be granted UAE visa for reasons beyond his/her control, the registration fee will be reimbursed (less bank charges) provided he/she can present a written proof from the UAE Embassy or Consulate by 1st March 2011.

-

Reimbursement will not be given for early termination of attendance.

-

These rules are also applicable for accompanying persons and dinner tickets purchase

   

Others:

-

Acceptance of the terms and conditions above constitutes a legally binding contract under Singapore law or UAE law.

-

This event is organized by Human Genome Organization (HUGO) International Limited and CAGS.

-

HUGO / CAGS / HGM 2011 accept no responsibility for the views or opinions as expressed by the speakers, chairman or any other persons at the event.

-

HUGO / CAGS / HGM 2011 reserve the right to refuse entry to delegates if it chooses.

-

HUGO / CAGS / HGM 2011 reserve the right to change the venue and/or speakers at any time and without prior notice.

-

HUGO reserves the right in its absolute discretion to cancel the event.
